The grand symphony concert was truly magnificent. A soprano earned thunderous applause in the monastery church with her singing.
Soprano Maryna Zubko sang from her extensive repertoire with a full, warm voice. Her repertoire ranged from the bel canto of the legendary aria Casta Diva from Bellini’s opera Norma, to an aria from the little-known Catalani opera La Wally and Mozart, all the way to Wagner and Richard Strauss.
